Dr Bojana Jovanovic is a double board certified physician in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. She completed her training in NYC where she gained a broad experience in treatment of various complex rheumatologic conditions. She has been practicing rheumatology for 10 years. Dr Jovanovic has a special interest in treatment of Systemic Lupus Eryhematosus (SLE), but also in managing other rheumatologic diseases, including Rheumatoid arthritis (RA), Psoriatic arthritis (PsA), Gout, Polymyalgia rheumatica, among many others.
Dr Jovanovic is passionate about individualized treatment approach applying a foundation of Functional Medicine. She is IFM certified practitioner (IFMCP). Her love and passion for Functional Medicine has been driven by her personal story after she had faced a life threatening disease. Dr Jovanovic consider of crucial importance an approach to patients “as a whole” which ultimately increases their chances for a successful treatment and a long term remission.
